Tell us Once Service

How to use Tell Us Once

Tell Us Once is a service that lets you report a death to most government organisations in one go.

A registrar will explain the Tell Us Once service when you register the death. They will either:

  • complete the Tell Us Once service with you
  • give you a unique reference number so you can use the service yourself online or by phone

The Miscarriage Association

 

The Miscarriage Association is a UK charity that offers support and information to anyone affected by miscarriage, ectopic or molar pregnancy.  They are able to offer patients support and assistance who are in need of further help.

The Tomorrow Project suicide bereavement service has been developed directly from the needs of the bereaved to provide a dedicated, innovative new service for those facing this devastating experience.

Ashby Bereavement Help Point

Location: Brown Court Community Room, Atkinson Road, Ashby LE65 2LZ

1st & 3rd Wednesdays of the month 6.00pm-7.30pm

2nd & 4th Wednesdays of the month 10.00am-12.00pm

They offer a supportive environment to anyone who is experiencing or has experienced bereavement irrespective of the type of bereavement or when the person died.

You can drop in for a short time or stay for the whole session, it is very informal.  You will meet other people who have had a significant loss and there will be bereavement support volunteers on hand to listen and offer advice and information on both emotional and practical concerns.
