Get in the know about local health services.

This week, NHS Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland has launched a new campaign called Get in the Know, to support local people to get the right care as quickly as possible, by raising awareness of the services to use when they are unwell or injured.

The campaign features a single website, GetInTheKnow.co.uk, where people can learn or ‘get in the know’ about local health services, either at the time or in advance.

Over several weeks we will be introducing the individual themes under the ‘Get in the Know’ series to raise awareness in small steps. These include, using GP practices, treating minor ailments and urgent care. The first theme, mental health services, will start next week.

The GP practice campaign will include more about the GP practice team, online services and alternative appointment types. A toolkit for practices will be sent nearer the time.
